Exclusively available to small, private groups, Alexandra will show you how to dine like a professional food critic at two award-winning restaurants.

First, you will enjoy both traditional and modern versions of Cantonese cuisine, while exploring the finer points of Chinese dining culture such as etiquette, the essential ingredient of texture in foods and how to order a balanced meal. Next, you will discover the latest trends in Chinese regional cuisine and learn how the future is evolving at a small gem off the beaten track.

Drawing on 15 years of culinary expertise, Alexandra will share her own personal journey with you as you also discover how the major waves of Chinese immigration to Richmond have transformed the city’s taste buds and culinary scene.

What to Expect

  • Available exclusively to private groups (four people minimum).
  • Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance of tour time
  • Eight to 10 courses, plus dessert.
  • Wine and beer is included.
  • Take-home tips and a list of Alexandra’s favourite spots.
  • This is a walking tour (approximately 10 minutes between restaurants).
