Is alcohol included in the price?

Alcoholic beverages are included with most tours. Please check the specific tour overviews for details. Please contact us if you would like to bring your own wine (corkage charges apply). And please ensure you have government-issued identification with you.

Is there parking available?

No, and we strongly discourage guests from driving if they will be drinking alcohol. All tours begin and end on a bus route or near a SkyTrain station.  Please take transit or a taxi to and from the tour. For the chauffeured tours, we are happy to extend service to and from your home or hotel for an extra fee. Please contact us for details.

Are children allowed?

Our tours are recommended for ages 14 and older, but exceptions can be made. Please contact us for details.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Some tours can accommodate vegetarians, pescatarians and pork-free diets, but the Chinese tours do not. Please be sure to let us know if you have a severe food allergy or dietary restriction.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, ticket purchase for the calendar listings are required 24 hours in advance (please see tour pages for specific cut-off times). Our restaurant partners require enough notice to prepare our custom menus and ensure priority seating.

What if I want to book last-minute or on a different date?

We are happy to arrange tours on different dates for private groups. We also provide guided dinners and lunches at single restaurants (including Chinese and Alexandra’s favourite hidden gems) for couples and small groups that are short on time. Please contact us for details.

Do you support corporate or private events?

Absolutely. We can custom-design a private tour or guided dinner for any group size, occasion or craving.  Let us create a unique culinary adventure for your next girls’ night out, reunion, family celebration, convention activity, corporate team building or client-appreciation event.

Do I need to tip?

No, all gratuities are included in the ticket price.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

The tours are held rain or shine. If necessary, please bring an umbrella for the walking tours. If it’s really pouring, we will take taxis for the longer distances.

Are tours accessible?

Most locations are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to confirm for the tour you are interested in.

Does the tour come in other languages?

At this time, we do not offer tours in any languages other than English. For an extra fee, and with enough advance notice, we could accommodate additional languages.

What should I bring with me?

You should bring a camera, if desired, a large appetite and lots of questions — Alexandra’s brain is yours to pick.
